Ed started his career in Australia when he, along with his brother, created the vocal harmony trio 'MOTIVATION' touring the club circuit of New South Wales. Right through the 70‘s the group worked some of the biggest rooms in club land.
In the 80‘s, he started the vocal harmony duo 'THE AINSLEY BROTHERS'.
Throughout the 90‘s, Ed took another direction and joined the cast of 'The Major Oak Theatre Restaurant' and stayed with the long running show for well over a decade. For a couple of years, the cast of The Major Oak also produced another show for it's sister Theatre Restaurant: 'The Burning Log', performing a 12 months season of 'SOUL TRAIN' at the Dural venue.
Ed was back on the road in the early 2000's with his instrumental duo 'WYLDETIMES' and later joined the cast of the award winning showband 'FROGS ON TOAST' where he was successful in collecting 3 MO Awards in the best Showband and Production Show categories.
Ed, until mid 2017, was the creator and front man of the comedy show 'FALSE IDOLS' but decided to put that aside to pursue his lifelong desire to pay tribute to 'The Chairman Of The Board'.
His latest venture, his new ONE man show 'LET ME BE FRANK' - A tribute to the legacy of legendary Frank Sinatra.
